Meet Your Guide

Jo Sawyer

Certified Meditation Teacher, Children’s Yoga & Mindfulness Teacher,

Mindfulness Facilitator, & Public School Education Teacher (Masters of Education)

As a teacher in the public education system for over 30 years, I have seen an increasing need for providing kids with tools to cope with big feelings and busy minds. As a parent, I understand the value of a shared commitment to helping our children physically, mentally, and emotionally. Building connections and nurturing cooperative opportunities for kids and the important adults in their lives shows our children how much we care, and how we hear, see, and honor the ups and downs of their world.  I am committed to playing my part in providing this feeling of unity for you and your families. It truly does take a village to raise a child.

Yoga: unity of body, mind, spirit within oneself; unity of child, family, community within our world.
